These views are from the A835, Dingwall to Ullapool road. It was unseasonably warm today, but with a soft Highland light. I met a colleague in Ullapool, to accept a list of new patients for when I start work on the 19th, business beckons.

I am about to return to work in Wester Ross, a stunningly beautiful part of the Scottish Highlands, and it gives me the perfect excuse to start another photo-blog of my travels. 'Highland Days' was a lot of fun and I was able to share pictures of a wide area of the Highlands. This time, my pictures will be only of Wester Ross but there is enough material to keep me busy until retirement and beyond! I can't include my patients, for obvious reasons, but I will show the communities and how people live. Today's pictures are from my 'library', fresh ones to follow.
